A Perfect Remedy for Long, Cold Winter Nights

With the holidays long gone and the snow piling up for so many of us, the longer days and warmer weather can't get here soon enough! Unless of course you're out there in the mountains getting some First Tracks or playing pond hockey on that Black Ice...........

Either way, Granite Firefly has the solution! With the subtle fragrances perfect for every month of the year, we can help bring warmth and happiness to your home these long, cold nights. Our candles will burn between 70 and 90 hours, depending on the size and your burning technique.

As the flame slowly descends, the candle burns into its shell. As the candle walls get progressively thinner, the candlelight will shine through, creating little lanterns

throughout your home!

Here are 6 tips to increase the safety and longevity of your candle:

  1. Place the candle on a candle plate or in a hurricane vase to avoid any wax residue on furniture.

  2. When lighting your candle for the first time, allow it to burn for approximately 3-4 hours, to establish a symmetrical “wax pool.” This will ensure the candle burns evenly and will prolong its life.

  3. Upon the initial lighting, the flame tends to burn very tall so please use caution around curtains and other flammable materials. As the wax pool forms, the flame will relax to a "normal" size.

  4. Before each lighting, trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch and ensure the wick is standing straight.

  5. Always burn away from drafts or fans, and do not burn unattended.

  6. Always use caution around children and pets!
