Miracles, Big & Small

The winter Olympics have once again been filled with intrigue and excitement, accomplishment, glory and inspiration, and we applaud each individual competing this year! Watching the gold medal hockey game this morning in real time was quite possibly the highlight of Donnie's winter so far, not even to mention the big wins!! The story of the men's 1980 Olympic team has always been a source of inspiration to us, and though thoroughly documented, we neve tire of the story of the "Miracle on Ice," realized on this day 46 years ago today. A new and noteworthy chapter was added today by Jack Hughes with the golden goal (and a couple missing teeth.) Coincidently, own our small miracle began on this day four years ago, when we created the very first Granite Firefly candles! Although we had never made this grand connection until this morning, it just seems to fit. A big, gigantic, genuine thank you for being here, and celebrating miracles big and small with us, today and everyday!!
