Capital City Sunflower Season

Perched atop the floodplains of the Merrimack River, the fields at Sunfox Farm open up to the river valley, and offer a stunning view of the glowing gold dome of the New Hampshire State House. Although is it not the only state house to boast such a view, it is in fact the nation's oldest capital building where the legistature still meets in the original chambers. Opened in1819 and built for about $82,000 the legacy of the sturcture continues today.
